“I became involved with BikeTrek in 2011 – primarily to honour the memory of my Dad who had recently passed away and had suffered from COPD for a number of years. To be honest, BikeTrek also challenged me to kick start a plan to improve my own health. I continue to be involved because it feels good to know that I can have a positive impact on someone’s life by raising money to fund the programs and services that benefit those who struggle with lung-related issues. Can’t wait for BikeTrek 2017!”
“I have had the pleasure of riding in The Lung Association’s Biketrek since 2009. As a cyclist, I have met many new and avid cyclists through this event and look forward to the event each year. The ride is fun and challenging, well-supported with great routes through Essex County, and is a day well spent with friends old and new. Whether a rookie or seasoned cyclist, this event provides a great incentive to get your cycling season going!”
